Happy Birthday Phyte Club!! What does one get a blog for its birthday?!
Thanks Kristen! Uh, maybe a vacation?! Or a never-fail internet connection?
Keep flowering!
Thanks, Invisible Oranges! You guys are the best, keep rocking!
Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday rockin’ Phyte Club! Happy birthday to you.
The photos are beauties, especially L. hispidula, one of my all time favorite CA natives. Thanks for being here.
Nature-Drunk Amber — Thank you! You are so sweet. Along with L. hispidula, I’m quite partial to L. involucrata, or twinberry honeysuckle. I love when you can see the red bracts, yellow flowers, blue/purple berries, and deep green leaves all on the same plant. So cool.
